Gracie Abrams just claimed the biggest week of her career. Her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 124,000 equivalent album units, officially giving the singer songwriter her first ever chart topper in the US. The album also hit No. 1 in the UK, Australia and the Netherlands, making it a genuine global moment for the 26 year old.
The project marks a creative leap for Abrams, who co produced the record with Aaron Dessner and pushed past the hushed, bedroom pop sound that defined her first two albums. Critics have taken notice, with reviewers praising the record for taking real risks while still holding onto her signature blend of melancholic indie folk and polished pop songwriting.
Daughter From Hell follows 2024’s The Secret of Us, which peaked at No. 2 and helped launch Abrams into arena level stardom. Now she is taking things even further with the newly announced “Look at My Life tour,” a sprawling 64 date international run. The North American leg kicks off in December at Denver’s Ball Arena and wraps with a four night stand at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in March. From there, the tour heads to Europe next spring.
With three albums in and a hat trick of top five records worldwide, Abrams has fully shed any “one to watch” label. Daughter From Hell proves she can headline arenas and top charts on her own terms, no features or algorithm boosts required. The only question now is how big the next chapter gets.
