The 52nd AMAs Stacked Performer Lineup for Memorial Day

The 52nd American Music Awards is coming in hot. CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the first wave of performers for the big night, and the lineup is as genre-spanning as it gets. Katseye, Sombr, Hootie and the Blowfish, Keith Urban, Maluma, Riley Green, Teddy Swims and Twenty One Pilots will all take the stage when the show airs live on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on CBS and Paramount+. Queen Latifah hosts.

Several performances are making history. Katseye, first-time AMA nominees, will deliver the U.S. television broadcast premiere of their new single “Pinky Up.” Sombr, a seven-time nominee, and Riley Green will both be making their AMA performance debuts. Teddy Swims performs his latest single “Mr. Know It All,” fresh off show-stopping sets at Coachella and Stagecoach.

Hootie and the Blowfish return to the AMA stage for the first time in 30 years, celebrating the anniversary of their 1996 Pop/Rock New Artist win with a set of fan favorites. Maluma will perform from his forthcoming project Loco x Volver, while Keith Urban previews his upcoming yacht rock album Flow State, due June 12. Twenty One Pilots round out the lineup with “Drag Path,” a viral track that has already crossed nearly 100 million streams.

Taylor Swift leads this year’s nominations with eight, followed by Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and Sombr with seven each.
