Slayyyter Turns Suspicion Into a Pop Anthem on “i think he’s got a girl”

Slayyyter’s breakout year keeps rolling. The St. Louis-raised pop star has released “i think he’s got a girl,” the newest preview of Wor$t Man in America, a nine-track companion to this year’s Wor$t Girl in America, due December 4 via RECORDS/Columbia.

The track trades the blown-out club energy of recent singles “brand new chanel$” and “crank 2” for something moodier and more dramatic. It starts as a new-wave chug and builds to a big, sweeping chorus as she pieces together the clues that her partner is stepping out. On social media, she said the song made her feel “like a main character” in an O.C. season finale.

Slayyyter also directed the video herself. It leans hard into postcard-perfect 1950s suburban housewife imagery.

The rollout follows a career-best run. Wor$t Girl in America debuted at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 and gave her a first No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Albums chart. Now 30 and a decade into her career, she’s touring hard and clearly not slowing down.
