Gunna Kicks Off His “Splurge” Era With the Flashy “Pop It”

Gunna is officially in his spending era. The Atlanta rapper released “Pop It” on October 9, the first single from his upcoming seventh studio album, Splurge.

The track is pure luxury talk over big, triumphant trap production. Gunna weighs which car to drive himself versus taking the chauffeur, piling up stacks along the way. The hook name-checks a “widebody Benz” before settling into its simple, chantable title.

“Pop It” also marks a business milestone. The release introduces SB THE LABEL, Gunna’s new imprint in partnership with Atlantic Music Group, and his new signees appear in the video.

The single follows “Dead Fresh,” his viral collaboration with Pharrell Williams. Splurge will be his follow-up to 2025’s The Last Wun, though no release date has been announced yet.

Outside the booth, Gunna has spent the year building a wellness-focused empire: partnerships with Cymbiotika and Peloton, a creative director role at Under Armour, and community work through Gunna’s Great Giveaway and the WUNNA Run 5K.
