JISOO Goes Dark and Dangerous on New Single “ADDICTED”

JISOO is showing a side fans haven’t seen before. The BLACKPINK star released “ADDICTED” on October 30 in Korea (the evening of October 29 in New York), the second pre-release single from her upcoming debut full-length solo album.

The track is a driving dance-pop song with a dark, moody palette and an infectious beat, built around the dizzy thrill of an attraction you can’t control. The rollout matched the mood. Purple storm visuals, lightning-streaked skies and an underwater performance teased a sharp turn from her softer image. In the video, she cycles through bold new looks, including a black lace catsuit with cat ears.

“ADDICTED” follows “CLICK,” the romantic pop lead single she released in September. Its physical editions topped 100,000 copies on Korea’s Circle Chart, and its Joseph Kahn-directed video has passed 54 million YouTube views.

JISOO is also hitting the Korean music show circuit to promote the new single. The full album’s title and release date are still under wraps.
