Alex Warren is back with “Rescuer,” a heartfelt new single that continues his tradition of writing love letters to his wife, Kouvr Annon Warren. The track arrives with a cinematic music video directed by Andrew Donoho, premiering live at an iHeart x TikTok event in Los Angeles.
“When I was at my absolute lowest, my now-wife Kouvr saved me,” Warren shared. “Nothing I have or have done is possible without her. This song is written to her as a way of expressing that.”
The video finds Warren sneaking into a costumed Baroque Ball, getting into trouble, and finding his way back to Kouvr by the end of the night, playful proof that the two can turn even chaos into romance on screen.
“Rescuer” follows singles “Passenger,” “Fine Place To Die,” and “Fever Dream,” and lands just weeks ahead of Warren’s sophomore album, Wildchild, out August 28 via Atlantic Records. The project follows his record-breaking debut, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, which has racked up over 9 billion streams and a 2025 VMA for Best New Artist.
