BLACKPINK star LISA is taking her K-pop flair to the gaming world with a new Fortnite collaboration, and she’s adding a personal touch. The official Fortnite blog announced that LISA will be the “Festival Season 12 Icon” starting Nov. 29, with a Starlux Music Pass featuring her style and tunes. In an interview, the singer revealed that one special item in the collab is inspired by her pet.
LISA said that when Fortnite asked her what she wanted for the collab, she immediately thought of her pets. “My pets are such a big part of my life,” she explained, “and so the Back Bling is a little love letter to Louis.” (Louis is LISA’s beloved pet cat.) “It’s my way of bringing a part of my family into Fortnite,” she added. The Back Bling is essentially a wearable in-game accessory that lets LISA carry a miniature tribute to Louis on her character’s back.
Beyond the cat-themed gift, the collab is packed with LISA’s signature looks and music. The Starlux pass offers two LISA-inspired outfits (“Melodie Mars” and the ultimate “Rockstar LISA” costume) and even includes her new track “FUTW (Vixi Solo Version)” from her upcoming Alter Ego album. In short, LISA’s Fortnite takeover promises big style, big beats — and a whole lot of feline affection.
