Steve Lacy is finally heading back out on the road. The Grammy winner has announced the “Oh Yeah?” Tour, a 27 city North American run in support of his third studio album of the same name, released in July on RCA Records.
The trek kicks off September 27 at The Armory in Minneapolis and travels through major markets including Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta and Nashville before wrapping November 30 in Vancouver. Along the way, Lacy will make notable venue debuts at Radio City Music Hall in New York, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
It marks Lacy’s first headlining tour since his sold out “Give You the World Tour” back in 2022, a four year gap that has coincided with a major shift in his career. Once known primarily as a guitar prodigy and internet raised songwriter, Lacy has grown into one of pop’s more distinctive voices.
“Oh Yeah?” is entirely self produced and features an eclectic list of collaborators, including SZA, Erykah Badu, Cecile Believe, Tyler, the Creator, Fousheé and Porches. The album’s title track has been climbing the Billboard Hot 100 thanks in part to its placement in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
Tickets for the tour went on sale August 14 through Live Nation. Reflecting on his growth as a touring artist in a past interview, Lacy said it took time to adjust to performing for bigger crowds after years of being, in his words, “a cool music nerd person.”
Fans can expect a run built for both longtime devotees and the wave of listeners he’s picked up since.
