Ariana Grande is putting her platform to serious work. On June 12, the three-time Grammy winner announced the launch of the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, a nonprofit designed to directly fund small organizations doing meaningful work for vulnerable communities across the country and beyond.
The foundation operates through four distinct funds, covering LGBTQ+ and civil rights advocacy, mental health care access, arts education, and emergency relief. Partner organizations include Lambda Legal, Trans Lifeline, and Humanity Crew, among many others. Rather than running programs itself, the foundation works as a pass-through funder, channeling resources directly to grassroots groups already on the ground.
“I am beyond excited to finally announce the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation,” Grande said in her announcement. “Our mission is to support, protect, and provide resources for our vulnerable friends in need.” She added, “It has been my privilege to be able to support these causes on my own over the years, and I’m grateful to now be able to expand that reach and amplify the life-saving work that these organizations do.”
The foundation’s name is pulled from “Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead,” the deluxe edition of her 2024 album, which was accompanied by a short film exploring themes of healing and hope. Grande is currently on the Eternal Sunshine Tour, with Los Angeles dates kicking off this week at Crypto.com Arena.
