Grace Jones to headline Love Motion in London
Grace Jones has been announced as the headliner for the special Love Motion all-dayer at London’s South Facing Festival. The event will take place on July 26 at London’s Crystal Palace Bowl. Alongside Jones, notable performers such as Róisín Murphy, Horse Meat Disco, Oli Keens, and more will take the stage throughout the day. Furthermore, the Jamaican musician and fashion icon will also be featured in the Summer of 2024 as part of the Live at the Piece Hall series at West Yorkshire’s Halifax Piece Hall.
Jones is widely recognized for her hits including ‘Pull Up To The Bumper’, ‘My Jamaican Guy’, and ‘Slave To The Rhythm.’ Though her most recent full-length release was in 2008 with ‘Hurricane’, she has since collaborated with artists such as Brigitte Fontaine, Beyoncé, Janelle Monáe, and Gorillaz, and has released compilation records.
General ticket sale will begin on Friday, February 2 at 10am London time.
