Bad Bunny Bids Puerto Rico Farewell With Emotional Marc Anthony Duet

Bad Bunny closed out his historic summer residency in Puerto Rico on an unforgettable high note. At the finale of his No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí concert series in San Juan, the reggaetón superstar surprised the sold-out crowd by bringing out salsa legend Marc Anthony for a heartfelt duet of “Preciosa.” The classic song — a loving ode to Puerto Rico — had thousands of hometown fans singing along through tears as Bad Bunny and Anthony embraced on stage. The final show was also live streamed globally, allowing fans around the world to witness the emotional homecoming moment in real time.

The Puerto Rican rapper-singer, born Benito Martínez Ocasio, grew visibly emotional as he addressed the audience during his last set. “I’m going to miss this energy,” he told the roaring arena, thanking the island for its unwavering support. “I love you, Puerto Rico… I promise I will never change,” Bad Bunny added, his voice cracking with emotion. The surprise appearance by Marc Anthony — who joined in for the song’s climactic line “Yo te quiero, Puerto Rico” (“I love you, Puerto Rico”) — served as a perfect send-off for the residency. After 30 boundary-breaking shows filled with special guests and patriotic pride, Bad Bunny’s final bow at El Choli marked the end of an era for the island’s music scene. Fans are now eagerly looking ahead as the Grammy winner prepares to take his show on the road for a world tour later this year, carrying Puerto Rico’s spirit with him.
