LL Cool J Is Bringing Hip-Hop’s Biggest Party to Vegas With ‘Rock the Bells: The Residency’

LL Cool J is turning Las Vegas into a hip-hop reunion. The Queens legend has announced “Rock the Bells: The Residency,” an 11-show run at Dolby Live at Park MGM in spring and summer 2027.

The first leg opens May 15 and continues May 16, 19, 21 and 22. The second leg kicks off July 9 and runs July 10, 11, 14, 16 and 17.

Billed as a celebration of hip-hop’s legacy, the residency promises a night built around LL’s catalog of hits, live DJs, storytelling and special guests. Names haven’t been revealed yet, but the lineup is expected to bring artists from different generations and genres together on one stage.

LL framed the run as bigger than a standard Vegas gig. “This isn’t me doing a show in Vegas. It’s all of us.” He pointed to hip-hop’s journey from a handful of New York neighborhoods to a global culture, and said that story belongs in Las Vegas.

Presales began Oct. 30. General tickets go on sale today, Monday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. Guest announcements are expected in the coming weeks.

The residency continues the “Rock the Bells” brand, which has long been tied to LL’s legacy and to the culture he helped build. With more than four decades of hits behind him, the Strip looks like a natural home for the next chapter.
