Olivia Rodrigo is back on top. You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 75,000 equivalent album units, up 15 percent from the prior week, a jump powered largely by the new “Expectations” remix featuring Chappell Roan.

Streaming did the heavy lifting. Streaming-equivalent units rose 19 percent to 63,000, and songs from the album pulled in 67.14 million official on-demand streams. The remix marks Roan’s first official feature. It was produced by Daniel Nigro, and the video, directed by Bardia Zeinali, landed October 15 and has passed 21 million YouTube views. The two have reportedly been friends since 2018, and Roan opened for Rodrigo on the Sour Tour and the Guts World Tour.

The win knocks Taylor Swift‘s The Life of a Showgirl down to No. 5 after a 52 percent drop to 42,000 units. Rodrigo’s album, which debuted at No. 1 in June with 485,000 units, the biggest solo debut of 2026, now has three nonconsecutive weeks at the summit, and it has not slipped outside the top five in 19 weeks on the chart.

The rest of the top five is stacked. Zach Bryan‘s Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs EP debuts at No. 2 with 65,500 units, followed by Morgan Wallen‘s I’m the Problem at No. 3 and Ella Langley‘s Dandelion at No. 4. A single remix and a well-timed friendship reshuffled the entire top of the chart.
