R&B Tour Drops Four Stadium Dates

Ahead of Chris Brown’s London Sentencing

The R&B Tour has lost four stadium stops. Dates for Baltimore on October 17, Cincinnati on October 24, Columbia, South Carolina on October 29 and Indianapolis on October 31 were pulled from the Usher and Chris Brown lineup on Friday, October 9.

The tour’s promoter pointed to the health and well-being of the touring party and crew, saying the adjustments follow an extensive run of sold-out stadium shows and will help the tour continue safely and sustainably through its remaining performances. No official link to Brown’s legal situation was given. Ticketmaster told fans refunds would arrive within three weeks.

Brown is due back in London for sentencing on October 26. He pleaded guilty in July to affray over a 2023 nightclub incident, an offense that carries a maximum sentence of three years. Reports have noted that a custodial sentence could affect the final leg of the tour.

Still on the schedule are a stop at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on October 15 and five nights at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium beginning November 5. The cancellations arrived quietly, with one stadium reportedly having promoted a ticket giveaway for its show just days earlier.

For now, the focus stays on the dates still standing. What happens after the London court appearance will decide the rest of the run.
