The Gallagher brothers are coming to your living room. “Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger,” the documentary chronicling Liam and Noel’s long-awaited reunion, will stream exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu starting October 9.
Directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (the duo behind “Shut Up and Play the Hits” and “Meet Me in the Bathroom”) and written by “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight, the film follows the band’s road to Oasis Live ’25. Cameras capture rehearsals, backstage moments and roaring stadium crowds, along with the brothers’ first joint interview after more than 15 years of estrangement.
Streaming viewers are getting extras theaters didn’t. The platforms will host new footage from that joint interview, full performances of “Wonderwall” and “Slide Away,” and first-time looks at “D’You Know What I Mean?” and “Half the World Away.”
“The great wait is over,” said Angela Jain, head of content for Disney+ EMEA. “The Oasis reunion has been one of our defining cultural moments of recent times.”
The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival before opening in U.K. and Irish theaters earlier this month, where it became the year’s highest-grossing documentary at the box office. Critics have noted it’s less about bombshell revelations and more about why this band still means so much to so many.
