Chappell Roan is throwing a party with purpose. The singer and her nonprofit, The Midwest Princess Project, have announced “The Super Graphic Spectacular,” a two night fundraiser set for October 21 and 22 at The Shrine in Los Angeles.
“It will be filled with drag, dance, guests, surprises, and funnnn!!” Roan wrote on Instagram announcing the event. “I will be doing a special performance as well!”
Each night will feature headlining performances from Roan alongside collaborators, drag artists, comedians and community advocates, with the event described as bringing together “artists, fans, creatives and advocates” to celebrate queer joy. Every dollar raised goes directly toward the Midwest Princess Project’s ongoing work, which the organization says focuses on “fostering care, connection and access to resources” for trans youth and LGBTQ+ communities.
The fundraiser also marks the project’s first full year of impact. Since launching in 2025, the initiative has raised $800,000 through Roan’s pop up shows and fan donations, supporting organizations across multiple cities, including the Ali Forney Center in New York and the Trans Wellness Center in Los Angeles.
Tickets will be distributed through a fan first registration system designed to cut out scalpers, with pre-registration running through Tuesday and purchase windows opening in waves later this month. The event comes as Roan has largely stayed out of the spotlight since her Grammy Awards appearance in February, following the March close of her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things tour.
