The follow-up to his Grammy-winning Gemini Rights arrives with ten tracks that move fluidly between R&B, experimental pop, and Lacy’s signature alt-soul sound, featuring appearances from SZA, Erykah Badu, and Cecile Believe.
Lacy began working on the album almost immediately after Gemini Rights wrapped, eventually recording a chunk of it in Paris, a city he says shaped the record’s mood in ways he didn’t expect. Reflecting on the project, he said he’s finally ready to speak his mind, and that mindset comes through in writing that feels more direct and lyric-driven than his earlier work.
