Tink has never been one to shy away from the full spectrum of love, and her new album, Fuck, Marry, Kill, proves she’s not about to start now. The 15-track project, out now via EMPIRE, is her most conceptually sharp body of work to date — using the classic game as a framework for dissecting the messy, complicated, and deeply human reality of modern romance.
“This album lives in the gray areas… the late-night thoughts, the decisions you don’t always explain, the truth you can’t dress up,” Tink shared about the project. “Sometimes love feels good, sometimes not so good, and sometimes it’s just real.” The Chicago native backs that vision with a stacked feature list — Bryson Tiller, G Herbo, Tee Grizzley, and Rob49 all show up, each bringing a distinct energy that complements the album’s emotional range. Standout track “Non Negotiables” finds Tink laying out her standards plainly: “Are you dependable? / Can I rely on you? / Are you accountable? / I want the whole truth.” Meanwhile, “Overrated” and “Can We Talk?” round out a project that is equal parts vulnerable and uncompromising. With Hitmaka on executive production duties, the sonics are polished and intentional from start to finish. Fuck, Marry, Kill is a reminder that Tink remains one of the most compelling storytellers in R&B today.
