South by Southwest (SXSW) is bringing its genre-blending energy back to London this summer. After a successful inaugural run last year, SXSW London returns to East London’s Shoreditch district on June 1–6, 2026, with an eclectic music lineup that spans continents and styles.
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage and acclaimed Los Angeles rapper Earl Sweatshirt lead the first wave of artists announced for the festival. Rising British indie-soul singer Rachel Chinouriri is also among the headliners for the week-long event. They’ll be joined by a wide-ranging roster of talent, from UK post-punk band Shame and indie rock outfit Circa Waves to legendary DJ Pete Tong, Nigerian hip-hop firebrand ODUMODUBLVCK and experimental electronic producer Sega Bodega. In total, 11 acts have been unveiled so far — and organizers hint this global list is just the beginning.
“At a moment when technology can generate endless music, what really shapes the future are the communities and scenes where artists push culture forward,” said Adem Holness, SXSW London’s head of music, explaining the festival’s diverse approach. “SXSW London brings those global scenes together in one place,” he added. “The future of music isn’t uniform.” Along with concerts, SXSW London will feature talks, workshops and industry events bridging the local and international creative communities. Festival passes are on sale now, with more artists expected to be added in the coming weeks.
