Ticketmaster to Reissue Canceled Ariana Grande Tour Tickets to Fans

Ariana Grande fans who missed out on tickets for her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour which initially sold out within minutes last fall just got a second chance. Ticketmaster has announced plans to reissue a batch of seats originally canceled due to sellers violating the company’s ticket policies, putting those coveted tickets back into the hands of fans.

In a statement posted on social media, the ticketing giant revealed it had identified a “small portion” of ticket orders last year that breached its purchase terms. Those tickets were canceled in October, and now Ticketmaster says its “focus is ensuring those tickets are reissued directly to fans” via a special request system launching in February. The new lottery-style process aims to keep the reclaimed seats out of scalpers’ hands, with priority given to fans whose initial purchases were voided through no fault of their own.

Grande, 32, shared Ticketmaster’s update on her Instagram Story and personally thanked her loyal audience for sticking with her. “Love you all so much and thank you for your patience… more information soon,” the pop superstar wrote. The Eternal Sunshine Tour – Grande’s first concert trek in six years – kicks off in June, and she’s hinted it could be her “one last hurrah” on the road for a while. That extra significance has made these shows especially in-demand, so the move by Grande’s team and Ticketmaster to crack down on resellers is earning praise for putting real fans first.
