Spotify Wrapped has arrived for 2025, and Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny is back on top – for the fourth time. The annual Spotify year-end report shows Bad Bunny racked up a staggering 19.8 billion global streams this year, dethroning Taylor Swift after her two-year run. Trailing Bad Bunny in the worldwide tallies are Swift, The Weeknd, Drake and Billie Eilish. In the U.S. charts, Swift still leads, followed by Drake, Morgan Wallen and Kendrick Lamar (Bad Bunny slots in at No. 5 stateside). Notably, Bad Bunny’s album Debí Tirar Más Fotos claimed the most-streamed album worldwide, while Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga’s “Die with a Smile” topped the global song list.
Spotify noted this isn’t just about one artist’s victory. In a statement, the platform celebrated how “Spanish-language music is reaching fans everywhere” – marking an even more global listening audience. The streaming giant also teased new Wrapped features (like “Listening Age” and a fan leaderboard) to spice up the annual recap. As Bad Bunny heads into 2026 – including a slated Super Bowl halftime show – fans are undoubtedly celebrating his return to the crown.
