Olivia Rodrigo talks exes, soundtracks and music

Olivia Rodrigo, the talented singer and songwriter, is on a roll these days. Her latest album has been living in the top ten since its release, breaking several records along the way. But, her recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, was all everyone was talking about. During the show, she spoke candidly about accidentally following her ex on Instagram, her contribution to The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’ soundtrack, and playing the singing whisper challenge with Jimmy.

The singer, who skyrocketed to fame with her single “Drivers License,” began to talk about her career and life. However, Jimmy Fallon, the witty host, couldn’t hold back from quizzing her about her social media mishap. The 18-year-old Olivia honestly confessed that she accidentally followed her ex-boyfriend on Instagram. Jimmy, being the fun host that he is, joked that he would unfollow his ex-girlfriends and pretend it was an accident too.

Olivia also expressed her admiration for Taylor Swift and confessed that she cried while receiving a handwritten note and a cozy blanket from the singer. She also spoke about her debut EP, which is in the works, and how it’s a personal reflection of her life.
