Taylor Swift’s Final Concert Film Coming to Disney+

Six-Episode ‘Eras Tour’ Docuseries

Taylor Swift will bring her record-breaking Eras Tour experience to Disney+ this winter with two new specials debuting on December 12. The pop superstar announced a six-part behind-the-scenes docuseries called Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The End of an Era, along with a full-length concert film of the tour’s final show, giving fans a new way to relive the phenomenon.

The docuseries offers an intimate backstage look at how the spectacular tour came together, featuring never-before-seen footage of Swift’s life on the road. It spotlights Swift’s crew, family and collaborators – from backup dancers to guest performers like Ed Sheeran and Sabrina Carpenter – showing the collective effort behind the tour’s success.

The second special, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour – The Final Show, presents Swift’s entire closing night performance, filmed at BC Place in Vancouver in December 2024. This concert film lets fans who missed the finale experience it in full – including the complete live set from her 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department, a segment added late in the tour that wasn’t shown in last year’s theatrical Eras Tour movie. Swift has described the tour’s culmination as “the most important and intense chapter” of her career.

Disney+ is banking on Swift’s massive fanbase with these exclusives as it faces fierce streaming competition. Swift’s Eras Tour itself was a cultural and commercial juggernaut – nearly 150 stadium shows worldwide, over $2 billion in ticket sales – and its theatrical concert movie shattered box-office records. By streaming the tour’s final chapter and behind-the-scenes story, Disney+ hopes to convert that phenomenon into a streaming event.
