Gaga surprised fans at a Netflix “Wednesday” Season 2 event in New York this week, where she officially revealed “The Dead Dance” and even confirmed she’ll have a cameo in the hit spooky series. “I’m thrilled to release this song alongside Wednesday. I’m a huge fan of the show and had so much fun appearing in it to support ‘The Dead Dance,’” Gaga gushed at the event, dubbed the “Graveyard Gala.” The track – described as a dark, danceable anthem – will be featured in Wednesday’s upcoming season, which hits Netflix the same week as Gaga’s single.
With Gaga currently in the midst of her successful Mayhem Ball tour (in support of her latest album Mayhem), fans are speculating that her VMAs set might be an extravaganza blending her new Wednesday-inspired song with her theatrical pop hits.
