The desert just got a whole lot more dramatic.
HBO Max has announced a special fan screening of Euphoria‘s Season 3 debut episode at Coachella, making it the first television series premiere in the festival’s history. The network is calling it “a historic late-night campground screening.”
The Season 3 premiere will play in the Coachella campgrounds on Sunday, April 12, at 11:59 p.m. PT, following the weekend’s final performances. Festival wristbands are required for access, and the watch party operates on a first-come, first-served basis under the California desert sky.
The eight-episode third season also officially debuts on HBO that same night at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with new episodes dropping weekly after that.
Despite a four-year hiatus, interest in Euphoria has not waned. The second season 3 trailer became the most-watched trailer for a returning show in HBO and HBO Max history.
Spanish pop star Rosalía is also joining the cast for Season 3, adding another layer of cultural buzz to an already massive return. The show has history with Coachella too. In 2023, composer Labrinth performed at the festival and brought out Zendaya for a surprise set, marking her first live performance in over seven years.
If you’re in the desert that weekend, set your alarms. This one goes way beyond the music.
