Kylie Jenner is trading reality TV for the silver screen – and she’s teaming up with Charli XCX to do it. Charli’s upcoming A24 film The Moment has revealed its full cast, and it’s a doozy: Jenner, 28, will make her movie acting debut alongside pop provocateur Charli XCX herself, as well as actor Alexander Skarsgård and rising comedy star Rachel Sennott. They’re joined by an eclectic mix of artists and actors including veteran Rosanna Arquette, comedian Kate Berlant, British pop singer Shygirl, and Charli’s own music producer A.G. Cook, among others.
The film – based on an original concept by Charli – follows “a rising pop star [played by Charli] navigating the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena-tour debut,” according to an A24 synopsis. Charli, 33, not only stars but also co-wrote the screenplay with director Aidan Zamiri, her longtime visual collaborator. She first teased The Moment on Instagram last week with a strobe-lit video set to her Icona Pop anthem “I Love It,” which revealed the cast list and ended with the tagline “Coming 2026.”
For Jenner, this project marks her first major acting role after years in the reality spotlight (aside from a brief cameo as herself in 2018’s Ocean’s 8). The cosmetics mogul shared her excitement by reposting Charli’s teaser and adding heart emojis on social media. With a bold blend of pop music insiders and Hollywood names on board, The Moment is shaping up to be one of 2026’s most intriguing pop-culture crossovers.
