A$AP Rocky is hitting the road – globally. The Harlem rapper has unveiled plans for a 42-date “Don’t Be Dumb” world tour in support of his new album, which marks his first headlining trek since 2019. The tour kicks off May 27 in Chicago and will crisscross North America before heading to Europe in late summer. Fans can expect Rocky’s high-energy performances in major arenas, with the itinerary wrapping up on Sept. 30 in Paris.
Over four months, Rocky will make stops at big venues like Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, New York’s Governors Ball festival, London’s O2 Arena and more. The tour shares its name with Rocky’s fourth studio album Don’t Be Dumb, which dropped last week after an eight-year wait. The long-awaited record has already broken a Spotify mark as the most pre-saved hip-hop album ever, reflecting massive fan anticipation. Critics have taken notice too – Billboard praised Don’t Be Dumb for “an evolved relationship with melody and a wiser lyrical slant” in the rapper’s comeback effort.
Tickets for the Don’t Be Dumb World Tour go on sale Jan. 27, with presales earlier in the week via Rocky’s official site. The tour is promoted by Live Nation and offers VIP packages for diehards looking for perks like backstage access and pre-show lounge events. After several years focused on other ventures (including film, fashion and fatherhood), Rocky seems ready to bring the ruckus back to the stage – and fans around the world are more than ready to join the party.
