Tate McCrae excites with new single, “Exes”

“Exes,” written and produced by renowned hitmakers Ryan Tedder (Taylor Swift and Beyoncé) and Tyler Spry (OneRepublic and Anitta), serves as a follow-up to the previous release “Greedy,” which Tate McCrae just performed a few weeks ago SNL. Both songs are poised to be included on her highly anticipated forthcoming second album, aptly titled, Think Later.

Reflecting on the release, McRae shares, “We penned ‘exes’ on the final day of the album-making process. It was like a last hurrah that Ryan Tedder and I wrote in just 30 minutes. The lyrics delve into my personal flaws within a relationship, highlighting my tendency for self-deprecation and self-sabotage. Filming the music video was an extraordinary experience—we got to dance so much alongside a remarkable group of talented women, which truly felt like a dream come true.”
