Royals Lady Gaga & Doechii Shut Down the Dancefloor

Hollywood is getting its own soundtrack, and it sounds like a fashion emergency. Lady Gaga and Doechii have officially joined forces for “Runway,” the lead single off The Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack, arriving just weeks before the film’s May 1 release. It marks the first-ever collaboration between the 16-time Grammy winner and the Florida rap phenomenon, and the pairing makes almost too much sense.

Built on an ’80s-inspired electronic beat co-produced by Bruno Mars, Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and D’Mile, the track is a high-energy declaration of self-confidence and unapologetic presence. Gaga opens the song with the kind of commanding energy fans have come to expect, while Doechii slides in with her signature sassy delivery. Together, they land a chorus that’s practically made for a runway moment. “Monday through Sunday, can turn the dancefloor into a runway,” the two sing in unison, making it clear that this collab isn’t just movie promo — it’s a cultural event. Doechii actually presented Gaga with the Innovator Award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, so the mutual admiration has been building. Now it’s on wax.
