Heated Rivalry Soundtrack Gets Vinyl & CD Release

Plus Unheard Bonus Track

The soundtrack to the hit series Heated Rivalry is officially getting a physical release. The steamy hockey romance’s Season 1 music will be available on both CD and vinyl starting July 10, according to an announcement from Milan Records. Fans can pre-order their copies beginning March 26, finally owning the beloved score and viral needle-drop songs in a tangible format. The release is packed with exclusive perks, including fold-out posters and liner notes from series creator Jacob Tierney that delve into the show’s musical moments.

The two-disc CD edition will also treat fans to some eye candy: it features exclusive photos of Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie – known for their on-screen rivalry as hockey heartthrobs Shane and Ilya – in a shirtless photoshoot. Both the CD and the dual-LP vinyl set include composer Peter Peter’s evocative original score as well as popular tracks from the series, from t.A.T.u.’s “All The Things She Said” to Wolf Parade’s indie anthem “I’ll Believe In Anything.” Plus, a special bonus track – “One Soul (Cottage Mix)” – offers die-hard listeners an unreleased remix that first teased fans during the show’s finale.

Vinyl collectors will have two designs to choose from: one edition themed after the show’s rival teams (the Montreal Metros and Boston Raiders), and a limited “Icy Inferno” variant pressed on clear vinyl emblazoned with the lead characters’ jersey numbers. “Demand for physical media has grown alongside the show’s success,” noted Milan Records in its announcement, underscoring the soundtrack’s leap from streaming to shelf. With Heated Rivalry’s music already dominating playlists, these new physical editions give devotees a fresh way to experience the romance-fueled soundtrack all over again.
