Football fans are in for a musical feast this Thanksgiving. The NFL has lined up three high-profile acts — Post Malone, Jack White, and Lil Jon — to headline the halftime shows for the league’s trio of Thanksgiving Day games in 2025. The special holiday lineup, announced by the NFL on Monday, spans genres from rock to rap and is set to add extra entertainment to each Turkey Day matchup.
Detroit-born rock star Jack White, freshly inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this month as a member of The White Stripes, will take the stage at Ford Field during the Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers game. Down in Texas, chart-topping hitmaker Post Malone is slated to perform at AT&T Stadium when the Dallas Cowboys host the Kansas City Chiefs. Malone — a longtime Cowboys fan who partly grew up in Texas — will also help kick off the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle charity campaign during his halftime set. “I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years,” the genre-blending artist said in a statement. “It’s a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with the Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people.”
Rounding out the schedule is crunk rap king Lil Jon, who will helm the primetime halftime show at M&T Bank Stadium as the Baltimore Ravens face the Cincinnati Bengals. The rapper/DJ seemed just as hyped as fans for the Thanksgiving gig — he highlighted the news on Instagram and gave a nod to his signature catchphrase, while the Ravens’ official social media quipped “Turn down for what” in their announcement. With a star-studded slate of halftime performers, the NFL’s Thanksgiving Day tradition will be louder than ever this year.
