Morgan Wallen’s Rules Billboard 200 for 11th Week

Country superstar Morgan Wallen continues his chart domination as his latest album I’m the Problem notches an 11th week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The sprawling 36-track album, released in mid-May, has been a mainstay atop the charts throughout the summer, driven by Wallen’s loyal fanbase and huge streaming numbers. This week marks I’m the Problem’s 11th (non-consecutive) week in the peak position – extending Wallen’s reign and making it the longest-running No. 1 album of 2025 so far. In an era where most albums flame out after a week or two at the summit, Wallen’s staying power is remarkable. The album debuted at No. 1 back in May with blockbuster sales, and it has rarely ceded the crown since, fending off new releases from pop, rock, and hip-hop heavyweights with ease.

This achievement places Morgan Wallen in elite company. I’m the Problem is Wallen’s third consecutive album to spend 10 or more weeks at No. 1 – a feat no other artist in history has accomplished until now. Between this record, 2023’s One Thing at a Time and 2021’s Dangerous: The Double Album, Wallen has essentially owned the Billboard 200 for a significant chunk of the past few years. In fact, with this 11th week at the top, Wallen’s albums have amassed a combined 40 weeks at No. 1, surpassing Elton John’s career total of 39 weeks and giving Wallen the fourth-most weeks at No. 1 ever among male solo artists (behind only Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks and Michael Jackson). It’s a testament to the 30-year-old singer’s massive popularity in both country music and the broader mainstream – he’s attracting millions of weekly streams far beyond the traditional country audience.

Despite the cheeky self-critical title I’m the Problem, Morgan Wallen has shown a reflective side on this album, which likely helped it resonate with so many listeners. “I have been a problem, for sure, and I’ve got no problem admitting that,” Wallen explained earlier this year when discussing the personal inspiration behind the record. “But there are other sides to me as well. I’ve spent the last year trying to figure out, ‘Do I still want to be the problem?’” That candid introspection, paired with arena-ready anthems and heartfelt ballads, has clearly struck a chord. As I’m the Problem secures an 11-week stronghold at No. 1, Morgan Wallen once again proves that he’s anything but a problem on the charts – in fact, he’s rewriting the record books while telling his own redemption story, one hit song at a time.
