Gunna ‘The Last Wun’ released with 25-Tracks

Atlanta rapper Gunna has officially entered the chat – and the charts – with his sprawling new album The Last Wun. Dropped overnight to eager fans, the 25-track project marks Gunna’s first full-length release since a tumultuous period in his career, and is expected to be his final album under Young Thug’s YSL Records. The title The Last Wun hints at closing a chapter, and throughout the record Gunna sounds like an artist with something to prove. He flows between introspective reflections and celebratory bangers, all propelled by producer Turbo’s signature slick beats.

The album is packed with high-profile features that blend Atlanta trap with global vibes. Hip-hop heavyweight Offset makes an appearance, as do Afrobeats superstars Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Asake, infusing tracks with infectious international energy. Lyrically, listeners are already dissecting lines that seem to address Gunna’s recent real-life drama – including a rumored rift with his former mentor Young Thug stemming from last year’s YSL court case. Despite the controversy, Gunna is focusing on gratitude and perseverance. “To my fans, thank you so much for being with me. Never give up and don’t stop — especially when they want you to stop. That’s when you P.U.S.H. — praying until something happens,” the rapper said in a recent interview, nodding to the obstacles he’s overcome. With The Last Wun, Gunna is making a bold statement that he’s back on his own terms, and the rap world is definitely listening.
