Nick Jonas Releases ‘Sunday Best’ – His First Solo Album in 5 Years

Nick Jonas is back in solo mode with Sunday Best, his fifth studio album and first in nearly five years – and possibly his most personal yet. Jonas delves into recent chapters of his life (marriage, fatherhood) through raw, self-examining lyrics and an unguarded sound built around acoustic guitars, piano, gospel-tinged choirs and lush strings that lend a soulful, intimate feel.

In Jonas’s own words, these are “new stories…candid thoughts…snapshots of my life over these past few years,” and while the album took two years to create, it was “truly 33 years in the making.” Jonas even previewed some songs live at a special “Sunday Best Brunch” show late last year, building buzz for the release. With Sunday Best, Nick Jonas confidently steps back into the spotlight on his own terms – showing fans a more unfiltered side of himself.
