Natalie Jane drops sophomore album

Pop newcomer Natalie Jane has just dropped her highly anticipated sophomore album the world I didn’t want (Capitol Records/10K Projects). The 13-track collection blends her heartfelt storytelling with upbeat ’90s Eurodance–inspired pop production. In candid lyrics Natalie reflects on heartbreak, self-discovery and life on the rise, capturing “the real, unfiltered experience of young womanhood.” Speaking about the record, Natalie said she’s “never made an album before” and is “so beyond proud of this project,” noting that she finally tackled emotions she once felt “too vulnerable to talk about.”

Early singles like “fallin” and “r u gonna love me?” already hint at the strong hooks and energetic dance beats. Fans and critics are calling the world i didn’t want a bold, authentic statement — a milestone for the viral pop sensation who’s quickly proving herself beyond social-media stardom.
