New York City’s Governors Ball festival has unveiled a star-studded lineup for 2026 with Lorde, Stray Kids, and A$AP Rocky set as headliners. The three-day event returns to Queens’ Flushing Meadows Corona Park from June 5–7, where fans will see Lorde make her Gov Ball comeback as a headliner after first playing the fest in 2017. Stray Kids will become one of the first K-pop groups to ever headline the festival, and Harlem native A$AP Rocky is slated to close out the weekend in his hometown.
The rest of the Gov Ball roster spans genres and generations. Attendees can look forward to performances by rising hip-hop star Baby Keem, R&B sensation Kali Uchis, and Jennie of BLACKPINK (making a rare solo festival appearance). Veteran electronic act Major Lazer and alternative favorites like Japanese Breakfast, Pierce the Veil, and Geese are also on the bill, among the 60-plus acts scheduled across multiple stages. It’s a multi-genre mix reflecting the festival’s roots in pop, rock, hip-hop and now K-pop, too.
Governors Ball, now in its 16th edition, has solidified its status as NYC’s premier music festival. Last year’s 15th anniversary lineup featured Tyler, the Creator and Olivia Rodrigo as headliners, and the festival’s momentum continues strong. Tickets for Gov Ball 2026 go on presale Thursday, Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. ET, with prices increasing after the first hour. With three huge headliners and a diverse supporting lineup, New York’s summer festival season is already heating up.
