Lewis Capaldi is officially back and ready to hit the road. After a two-year hiatus from touring, the 26-year-old Scottish star has announced a string of arena shows across the U.K. and Ireland in September 2025. The tour news comes on the heels of Capaldi’s emotional surprise performance at Glastonbury last week – a triumphant return where he told the crowd, “Second time’s a charm on this one… I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time,” referencing his interrupted 2023 set. Now, fans will get another chance to see him live.
Revealing the tour on social media, Capaldi quipped that it was “about time I get back to work” after his break. The “Someone You Loved” singer will kick off the 10-date run on September 7 in Sheffield, and hit cities including Aberdeen, Glasgow, London (with two nights at The O2 Arena), Manchester, Birmingham, and more, before wrapping up in Dublin on September 29. Capaldi noted that these will be his only European shows of 2025 – making them a hot ticket for his devoted fanbase.
Tickets go on general sale July 10, with presales starting July 8 for registered fans. The tour will also feature rising artists Skye Newman and Aaron Rowe as special guests on most dates. Capaldi’s announcement has been met with an outpouring of excitement online, as fans celebrate the beloved singer-songwriter’s return to the stage and the promise of new live music after years away.
