Jonas Brothers Concerts to Livestream Exclusively on Samsung

The Jonas Brothers are bringing their upcoming tour directly to fans’ living rooms – for free. The sibling trio announced a partnership with Samsung to livestream select concerts from their JONAS 20: Greetings From Your Hometown tour exclusively on the Samsung TV Plus platform. Starting next week, fans who can’t attend in person will still be able to watch five of the Jonas Brothers’ shows in real time at no cost. The first streamed concert will be the tour’s opening night on Sunday, August 10, live from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Additional dates set for streaming include stops in Dallas (Aug. 31), Milwaukee (Oct. 12), Orlando (Oct. 26), and Buffalo (Nov. 9) – spanning the tour’s North American run through the fall.

The livestreams will air on Samsung TV Plus’s new flagship channel, Samsung Television Network (STN), which is available on Samsung smart TVs and mobile devices. According to a statement from Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas, the idea is to make the tour as inclusive as possible for their global fanbase. “This tour is about celebrating where we came from and sharing that with the fans who’ve been with us every step of the way,” the Jonas Brothers said, adding that streaming it live “means we get to include every fan, everywhere.” They quipped that no matter where someone watches from, “this is your hometown show.” The JONAS 20 tour coincides with the band’s 20th anniversary and the release of their new album Greetings From Your Hometown, which drops August 8. With the Samsung deal, the multi-platinum group is embracing technology to give back to fans – essentially handing out free front-row tickets to some of their biggest gigs.
