Acclaimed hip-hop duo Clipse – brothers Pusha T and No Malice – have thrilled fans by announcing their first new album in over 15 years. Titled “Let God Sort Em Out,” the comeback album is set for release on July 11, 2025, and will be executive-produced by the group’s longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams. The project marks Clipse’s long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s Til the Casket Drops, capping years of reunion rumors and occasional one-off appearances. The duo has already dropped a lead single, “Ace Trumpets,” giving a taste of their revitalized sound under Pharrell’s signature production. Notably, recording took place both in their native Virginia Beach and at Louis Vuitton’s Paris studio – where Pharrell now serves as menswear director – blending hometown roots with high-fashion atmosphere.
Clipse’s road to reunion was not taken lightly. The brothers had pursued solo careers during the hiatus, and No Malice (formerly just “Malice”) had stepped back from the spotlight for personal and spiritual reasons. He reflected last year on turning down past offers to reunite purely for money. “The money wasn’t comforting to my soul,” No Malice told Rolling Stone in 2024, explaining he needed a deeper calling before returning to the rap duo. That confirmation apparently arrived, allowing Clipse to reunite on their own terms. “We’ve been offered opportunities over the years, but it had to feel right spiritually,” he said, hinting that their faith and personal growth guided the new album’s creation. Now with Let God Sort Em Out on the way – entirely produced by Pharrell, with contributions from his Neptunes partner Chad Hugo in question due to a separate dispute – Clipse are officially back. Hip-hop fans are eagerly awaiting the album drop, as the Virginia duo aim to recapture the magic of their early 2000s classics with a modern twist. As Pusha T teased on social media alongside the album announcement, “The Clipse era returns this summer – God’s watching.”
