Post Malone begins his country train

Post Malone dives deep into his country era, teaming up with genre veteran Blake Shelton for his latest single “Pour Me A Drink.” Post is gearing up for the release of his sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion on August 16, teasing fans with a grand announcement on a billboard in Nashville, Tennessee. Before “Pour Me A Drink,” he joined forces with country artist Morgan Wallen on “I Had Some Help.” The laid-back anthem, just over three minutes long, captures the duo chatting about enjoying a drink no matter the situation — be it the Dallas Mavericks’ loss in overtime, a speeding ticket mishap, or the ups and downs of love. “When it’s Friday and payday, pass one my way,” croons the pair in the chorus, reflecting the feelings of many after a strenuous workweek.

Other country releases this week include Lainey Wilson and Lady A.
