The two have yet to announce their plans as a couple but according to our sources, both have made an effort to reach out to Anthony’s ex-wife. “They have made attempts to reach out and explain their side of the story; she wants nothing to do with them and would rather stay out of their affair,” says a close friend. Just this week the New York Post has reported that Lopez and Anthony are engaged after spotting a new square-cut diamond engagement ring. “She has a new album on the horizon, a few new movies in the pot. Lopez is no fool. She is a marketing genius, so don’t be surprised if the next few months mirror the Ben & JLO era,” says a Sony employee. Speaking of the New York Post, Christina Aguilera is said to be very upset with the Post report that she canceled her tour because ticket sales were not up to par. “She wants the media to stay out of her life,” says an employee. “The story hurt her dearly and she wants her fans to know that she had no intention of canceling even if the tickets sales were down.
