Mariah Carey may be gearing up for a tour but the artist could also be enjoying the company of a man. A close friend of the said man claims, “They met while she was here in New York for Zootopia. They talk on the phone but nothing more. She [Mariah] has been very busy planning her tour and he has been busy planning his bands first tour this summer.” Carey also made an appearance to support old beau Derek Jeter this Monday at his annual Turn 2 Foundation at the Regent Ballroom. Mariah Carey is also re-releasing her album, Charmbracelet with four new tracks including a new version of, “The One,” featuring Jermaine Dupri and a duet with Da Brat. The album should be out by the end of July. With a career that shines, Mariah in love could only bring happiness to what seems to be a lonely personal life. Then again, Trey Lorenz and pals always has her back.

Clay Aiken says, “I’m not gay.” In the latest issue of Rolling Stone which fronts Clay as the cover boy the singer answers many questions including the fact that him and his father are estranged and he has no plans to reunite, “He never tried to be a father to me, ever.” Says Aiken. “I saw him once when I was growing up only once because the court made me.” Clay’s debut album will be released in August while the first single is geared to be number one this week on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singes chart. All in an ‘American Idol’s’ days work.

Foxy Brown continues to make threats at Def Jam but their not listening an executive is claiming, “she’s over and she knows it.” Foxy's album has been shelved once again while Def Jam and Bad Boy figure out the next move. Brown, on the other hand just wants to move on. Such a sad business…Bobby Brown on Murder Inc?
