What is going on with Brandy? The R&B diva is working on a new album with husband, Robert Smith. Smith has produced tracks for Toni Braxton and Trintee 5:7. Along with his cousin, Rodney Jerkins, he has also worked with Brandy in the past. With all the joy, there comes drama. Apparently, Brandy was hoping Robert could produce her entire forthcoming album but Atlantic Records declined. "All the songs sound the same. Although he is great producer [Atlantic] was not interested in another Rodney Jerkins," says an employee at Atlantic Records. In addition, Brandy and Robert seemed to be embroiled in a feud with Rodney Jerkins and it is now uncertain if he is going to be involved in the production of her next album.

Christina Aguilera is in talks to star in a new movie for New Line Cinema. Aguilera has been receiving movie scripts since the release of Stripped. The movie is said be a romantic-comedy and will be filmed after her current tour with Justin Timberlake ends. In addition, Aguilera has penned a tune for Kelly Clarkson. The track will be featured on Clarkson's new album, which is due on April 15.

Toni Braxton has a lot to smile about. Braxton gave birth to a healthy baby boy over the weekend in an Atlanta hospital. Diezal Ky Braxton, weighed in at 6 pounds 4 ounces. The singer has also left Arista Records and is rumored to have signed with Blackground/Universal...Babyface is working on a new album for Arista which may include a duet with Nelly.
