Britney Spears denies her relationship
with Fred Durst, she has admitted to calling
Colin Farrell. Still, if Britney is looking
for a long-term relationship with the Irish actor, she might
be barking up the wrong tree. A close friend of the actor
says "He doesn't know what settling down means. Britney
is a very nice girl and I wish she could talk some sense
into him but this is not a match made in heaven." The source
adds "They have been talking on the phone, and they even
went out a few times but that's all. Britney is still getting
to know him but Colin is getting to know many." Britney
received an award from MTV for her contribution to TRL this
Monday in New York. While in town she dashed over to the
Neptunes' studio and listened to a few
new tracks.
Can we talk American Idol? I was so amazed by the
performances last week, but this week many of the singers
were choosing the wrong songs. And Miss Blabba has to say
things look a tad bleak now that Frenchie Davis
is no longer a part of the competition. In Frenchie news,
Fox has decided to take a look into allowing Frenchie to
participate in the wild card performances, largely because
of the fan support that Frenchie has received. (Many fans
have built Web sites in support of the singer.) This could
really get good.
Is everyone forgetting what R. Kelly was
arrested for last year? Apparently, fans aren't walking
away like they did when Wacko Jacko was charged with child
molestation. Kelly is expected to sell more than 500,000 copies
in his new album's first week of release. Now, if only he
stopped trying to convince everyone that he's innocent of
the charges. Your on candid camara honey...Christina
Aguilera was recently on a shopping spree in New
York. The tiny-waisted songstress was on the stroll in Soho.
She seemed interested in D & G, and DKNY... Last night's
BET's gospelfest was a success. Performances by Kelly Price,
and Stephanie Mills were standouts. More productions like
this and they may actually become a real network...Watch
