Can you blame her? Three platinum-plus albums along with Destiny’s Child, a hit MTV movie, and the writing credits for the grammy-award winning, "Survivor." In six short months, Beyonce’ has branched off into a new world – appropriately titled, solo. "I’m in the position right now of being able to do what I want," she says with caution. "I’ve paid my dues the last four years. I’ve written a lot of really great songs. I’m blessed. I think people respect me now. The label trusts me and now that they’ve said, ‘Do whatever you want,’ it’s a good thing, but it’s a lot of pressure."

While her solo debut is not due til’ October. Beyonce’ teased many with the track, "Work it Out," on the Austin Powers soundtrack. The movie also marks her big screen debut. "I just hope people like me in it," says Beyonce’. "I watched Shaft, Foxy Brown, and Coffy, and definitely studied Pam Grier, because I wanted to make sure I had the right attitude to parody those movies…"
