Groovevolt.com, one of the Internet's
leading music sites, announced the nominees Wednesday for its Fourth Annual
GV Music & Fashion Awards. Voting for the awards will take place at Groovevolt.com
beginning December 20, 2006 and the winners will be announced on February 4,
2007.
Music fans who log onto Groovevolt.com from December 20, 2006 to January 27,
2007, will be able to vote, in 40 categories, for their favorite rock, hip-hop,
and pop artists, as well as for their favorite movie soundtrack, deep cuts,
and most fashionable artist. In addition, fans can go to Groovevolt.com’s
MySpace page where fans can enter a contest to win valuable prizes and talk
with fellow fans of the nominated artists.
Nominees were chosen from artists whose albums were released from October 1,
2005 to September 30, 2006. Singles released during that time period are eligible,
