Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’” (featuring Krayzie Bone) holds its spot at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for a second consecutive week, holding off Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day,” which remains at No. 2 on the Hot 100, but which recaptures the top spot on the Pop 100, and continues to hold the top spot on the Adult Contemporary chart for a sixth straight week.
Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous” (featuring Timbaland) jumps from No. 9 to No. 3 and is the week’s greatest sales gainer. The disc also jumps from No. 7 to No. 1 on the Hot Digital Songs chart. Fort Minor’s “Where’d You Go” (featuring Holly Brook, rises from No. 5 to No. 4. Rounding out the top five is Rihanna’s “SOS,” which falls from No. 3.
Cassie’s “Me & U,” which jumps from No. 13 to No. 6, is the week’s greatest airplay gainer. American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry’s “Wanted Dead Or Alive” is the week’s top debut.
Yung Joc’s “It’s Going Down” continues to top the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart for a second consecutive week, and Bubba Sparxxx’ “Ms. New Booty” (featuring Ying Yang Twins and Mr. ColliPark) tops the Hot Ringtones chart for the ninth consecutive week.
