Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day” continues its run at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the fifth consecutive week, and also maintains its top position on the Pop 100 and the Hot Digital Songs charts, where it has also topped those charts for five straight weeks.
Once again, Sean Paul’s “Temperature” and T.I.’s “What You Know” hold the No. 2 and No. 3 spots on the Hot 100 respectively, and Paul’s track also captures the honor of being the chart’s greatest sales gainer. Chris Brown’s “Gimme That” (featuring Lil’ Wayne) is the week’s top airplay gainer, jumping from No. 61 to No. 42.
Chamillionaire’s “Ridin” (featuring Krazy Bone jumps from No. 12 to No. 4 and Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” remains at No. 5. The week’s top debut is the Dixie Chicks’ “Not Ready To Make Nice,” which enters the chart at No. 28…
James Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful” continues to top the Adult Contemporary chart for a third straight week, while the track drops from No. 7 to No. 8 on the Hot 100. Bubba Sparxxx’s “Ms. New Booty” (featuring Ying Yang Twins and Mr. ColliPark) tops the Hot Ringtones chart for a fourth consecutive week and rises two spots, from No. 11 to No. 9, on the Hot 100.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers’s “Dani California” tops the Modern Rock chart for a third straight week and captures the top spot on the Mainstream Rock chart. The track drops from No. 9 to No. 10 on the Hot 100.
Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles’ duet “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” tops the Hot Country Songs chart. This marks the first time that a rock act topped the country chart since Billboard began tracking country singles in 1944 and the first time in nearly 30 years that a top-billed non-country artist has hit No. 1 with his first single on the country charts. |
