Christina Milian forges between a progressing film career and now, what seems to be a ripened music career. Her long-awaited sophomore album (her debut was never released in the U.S.), It’s About Time, offers a more sensual artist. “Obviously the title refers to the length of time that it took me to complete this and finally have an album available in the U.S. But the other meaning is that I’ve learned that everything in my career has to do with timing,” Milian said. “Everything happened for a reason, and it’s made me who I am, which means that this album is really a reflection of me. I’m older now, so songs on this album have a little more depth to them.”
The first single, “Dip it Low,” is laced with a heavy beat and an edgy element; a song you can move to.
